Man Injured in Rhinelander Motorcycle Accident

A Rhinelander man is in the hospital following a 2-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.

According to officials with the Rhinelander Police Department, the crash occurred shortly before 4:30 Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Coon and Lincoln streetsĀ  in Rhinelander. Officer Will Stuart said the man driving the motorcycle was transported by ambulance to Ministry St. Mary’s Hospital following the crash.

The female driver of the minivan was not injured in the crash.

“Right now we’re getting witness statements from other people who had seen the accident,” Stuart said. “We’re talking to the person that was in the van.”

Rhinelander police, fire, and St. Mary’s medical crews were on the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
