Driver ID'd in Fatal Rhinelander Car Accident

Police have released the name of a driver who died in a Rhinelander car accident Sunday.

According to officials with the Rhinelander County Sheriff’s Department, 50 year-old Thomas Hoehn of Chippewa falls was behind the wheel in the fatal accident. Police say Hoehn was in a single-vehicle crash shortly after 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Highway 8 and County Highway N in the town of Woodboro.

The Sheriff’s Office said, in a statement, that Hoehn’s car left the road and struck several trees. Hoehn was the only passenger in the vehicle.
