Man arrested after reckless driving causes accident

A man has been arrested after a reckless driving accident on Highway 41 caused one woman to be injured.

According to authorities, they received many phone calls about a minivan that was driving erratically down Highway 41. Witnesses stated that the driver was not stopping at stop signs, honking and putting on flashers.

The accident occurred as the driver attempted to go in between two cars on the southbound side of the road and struck them. After the collision, a 47-year-old woman suffered neck and back injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the car tried to flee the scene, but was arrested.
