Two teens killed in head-on collision in Columbia county

Two teens, ages 17 and 18, were killed when a semi truck collided with their motorcycle on Highway 51 on Tuesday. Their identities are currently being withheld until family members are notified.

According to officials with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon five miles south of the Village of Arlington.

It is unknown at this time what caused the truck driver to cross the median, but he was wearing a seat belt at the time and did not sustain any injuries. The sheriff’s department is working with Wisconsin State Patrol to investigate the incident.

Our deepest condolences go out to the friends and family of the victims.
