Intoxicated female driver charged in Wisconsin

Several charges were recently filed against a female driver in Wisconsin after authorities suspected her of driving while under the influence, WDJT Milwaukee reported on July 7.

Reports revealed that Melanie Lynn Alvarez of Pleasant Prairie was apprehended by the Waukesha State Patrol authorities after she was seen driving almost 100 mph on Interstate 94. The speed limit was 70 mph. A sobriety test was administered to Alvarez after authorities noticed signs of intoxication. Charges related to reckless driving, endangering a minor, and intoxicated driving were filed against Alvarez, who was later booked at the Racine County Jail.

Drivers who are under the influence of alcohol are a danger to everyone on the road. Fortunately no one was hurt in this incident, but that isn’t always the case.
