Sheriff Deputy Cited in Accident

A Wisconsin sheriff’s deputy has recently been cited for his role in causing an accident.  The deputy was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign on Monday.  The deputy’s squad car struck another vehicle.

The accident took place in the afternoon at an intersection around 3:30 p.m.

Only minor injuries were reported in the accident.  The accident will be investigated by the department to determine if disciplinary actions need to take place.  The accident will be reviewed by the department’s accident review committee.
