Semi, Van, Car Collide in Fatal Accident

Authorities still cannot explain the fatal crash in Ashwaubenon Thursday afternoon that killed one and left two injured. According to police, a semi tractor-trailer, a box van and a car collided on Highway 41, leaving no skid marks. The wreck was a chain reaction, police said, sending the van and car into the median.

The box van allegedly turned over, and the car came to a stop in a roadside ditch. The car driver’s injuries proved fatal, and the car’s passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The box van driver suffered injuries as well. The semi driver avoided injury in the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the accident.
