A 19-year-old man was hit and killed by a recycling truck Wednesday morning in Hudson, Wis., police said. Authorities say he was on the sidewalk, and then he entered the road at the same time the recycling truck, which was making a right-hand turn.

The man had a bicycle with him at the scene of the crash, but police do not know if the man was riding it or walking alongside it. The truck driver was not hurt in the accident, police said. Police are still investigating the accident.
