Tomah Teen Injured in Wisconsin Car Accident

A teenager from Tomah was injured when his car crashed and hit a utility pole in Monroe County Sunday morning.

According to Monroe County Sheriff Dennis Pedersen, the accident occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. Sunday on Gondola Road near County Highway CM in the Tomah Township. Police say 18 year-old Ethan Adler, of Tomah, lost control of his vehicle as he came over a hill. Adler’s vehicle careened off the roadway, struck a utility pole, and continued along the ditch lane striking two rolled bales of hay, Pedersen said.

Adler was transported by ambulance to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries after the crash. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The crash remains under investigation.
