Rhinelander Man Killed in Vermont Truck Accident

A Rhinelander man was killed in a truck accident in Vermont Saturday evening.

According to officials witht he Vermon State Police, 20 year-old spencer Lynch was traveling northbound in a Jeep Cherokee driven by 24 year-old John Burns when the accident occurred. Police say Burns lost control of the vehicle and went into the median. The jeep continued into the oncoming lanes and was struck by a southbound truck.

The Jeep was struck on the rear driver’s side and Lynch was ejected from the vehicle, police say. Lynch was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
