Rhinelander Woman Injured in Drunk Driving Accident

A Rhinelander woman was injured in a rollover accident early Saturday.

According to officials with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highway A and Theis Road in the Town of Harrison. Police say a woman lost control of her vehicle on the highway and drove off the roadway. The car came to rest in a wooded area.

The woman was transported by ambulance to Ministry-St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander for treatment. She is listed in serious condition. Police believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident.
