Appleton man injured in single-motorcycle accident

A Waupun area single-motorcycle crash sent an Appleton man to the hospital with injuries to his foot and leg.

The crash took place last Friday when Kenneth Luchinski and his wife were going for a ride on his motorcycle. The couple exited Highway 26 onto the southbound ramp of Highway 51 when Luchinski lost control. The motorcycle entered a ditch after leaving the road and rolling over.

Brooks Ambulance transported Luchinski to University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison for treatment of non-life threatening injuries that he sustained in the crash. According to his wife, the crash was caused by a medical condition that Luchinski suffered while driving.
