Southern and central Wisconsin may have to cancel ski events

The lack of snow in southern and central Wisconsin may have caused the candlelight ski events to be cancelled.

According to the Chicago Tribune, officials with the Department of Natural Resources have stated that these events, nearly 30 of them have been scheduled, may be changed to candlelight hiking events or completely cancelled because there is not enough snow to ski.

The events are to take place in state parks, forests, trails and other areas and five are set to start this weekend.  Northern Wisconsin is not experiencing this shortage of snow.

The Rhinelander car accident lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C., are happy to keep residents informed on events and news in the area and are wishing you and your family a Happy New Year.
