293,000 Chevrolet Cruzes to be recalled

General Motors recently said it will be recalling 293,000 compact-sized sedans with brake defects, according to an article published on August 16 in The Los Angeles Times.

According to the automaker giant, an occasional loss of brake assist in configured engine-transmissions may be experienced by 2011 and 2012 models of the Chevrolet Cruze. This defect can cause drivers to have difficulty in stopping the car. Alleged low-speed accidents related to the issue have been reported, but no injuries have been associated with the defect.

The brake defect will be resolved by dealers for free.

Sadly, brake and other auto defects can cause serious accidents that injure innocent people. If you have been harmed in such an accident in Rhinelander, call our lawyers from Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at (715) 365-1900.
