Wisconsin Street collision results in injury and arrest

A recent vehicular accident in Sparta caused the injury of one person and the arrest of another, WKBT reported on July 22.

Bicyclist Jeremy Briggs, 38, was reportedly heading east on Wisconsin Street when a vehicle crashed into the rear portion of his bike at around 10:00 p.m. Jeremy was airlifted to a hospital due to serious injuries he sustained from the accident, although they were not thought to be life-threatening. The vehicle driver was identified as Amber Rhodes, 34. She was arrested on charges of reckless driving resulting in an injury and suspected operating while intoxicated (OWI).
