DUI crash in Milwaukee injures three

Three people were hurt in a head-on crash in Milwaukee caused by a drunk driver traveling the wrong direction, an article by Fox 6 reported on September 7.

The Milwaukee Fire Department reportedly responded to a wrong way accident that occurred on Miller Parkway around 2:30 a.m. The wrong way driver was identified as Jorge Ramirez. He and his passenger both suffered injuries and were unconscious when crews arrived. The operator of the other car, whose name was withheld, only suffered minor injuries to his legs. Ramirez is facing several charges, including a DUI, after empty beer cans were found inside his vehicles after the crash. Traffic was restored on the highway several hours after the accident.
