Stolen vehicle driver charged after fatal Milwaukee crash

A teenager who drove an allegedly stolen vehicle is facing several charges after he struck another vehicle in Milwaukee, leaving both of its two occupants dead, Channel 3000 reported on March 29.

Reports said 18-year-old Gerald Harper was charged in Milwaukee County court on March 27 with two counts of reckless driving and driving with a revoked license, both resulting in homicide. Harper reportedly struck the vehicle, which was driven by an unnamed 47-year-old man and otherwise occupied by teenagers Marquise Tate and Jamar Canady, on the west side of Milwaukee. Tragically, both teenagers were killed in the crash. Harper and two other individuals, including the other male driver and a 17-year-old in the car with Harper, were injured in the crash. Harper is expected for a hearing in court on April 3.
