Dane County patrol car hit pedestrian

A person was recently injured after a Dane County patrol vehicle operated by a sheriff’s deputy crashed into him, a May 21 article of Channel 3000 reported.

According to the information released by the Madison Police, the pedestrian accident happened on May 20 in northern Madison. Reports stated that a 63-year-old man was walking across the intersection of Aberg Avenue and North Sherman Avenue when he the patrol vehicle struck him. The pedestrian, whose name was not released, reportedly suffered minor injuries. The officer driving the vehicle was later issued a minor citation.
