Pedestrian in coma after West Milwaukee accident

A male is in a coma at Froedtert Hospital with serious injuries after being the victim of a pedestrian accident at West Orchard Street in Milwaukee, reported on August 13.

According to reports, 40-year-old John Dobs Jr. was walking home from Target on August 12th when he was struck by a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) on Miller Park Way. The SUV reportedly left the scene after striking the pedestrian. Dobs, who was admitted to the hospital, suffered broken ribs and a broken neck according to a party who knows the victim. Though the father of four suffered serious injuries, police confirmed that he is in stable condition. Authorities are currently looking for a possible white “GMC Envoy” SUV and its driver, based on surveillance cameras in the area.
