Suspected drunk driver arrested in Lincoln County

Authorities in Lincoln County recently arrested a suspected drunk driver after he was involved in a vehicular collision, news sources reported on December 29.

Information coming from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department stated that a two-vehicle accident took place in the parking lot of a tavern located on County Road A. A witness called authorities after observing the driver striking a parked car before driving away. The driver, a 56-year-old man from Tomahawk, was stopped a short while later on County Road D where he was arrested. Officers who pulled the man over noticed signs of intoxication, and later investigations revealed that the man has already been charged with drunk driving once before.
