3 seriously hurt in Grand Rapids suspected OWI crash

A recent two-vehicle accident in Grand Rapids, caused by an alleged drunk driver, left three individuals seriously injured, an article of the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune reported on March 22.

Charges are expected to be filed against Logan Steinhilber, 17, after police arrested him on March 21 in connection with the incident. Steinhilber was suspected of driving while intoxicated after he crashed his SUV into another vehicle head-on on Wood County W. The collision reportedly took place after Steinhilber’s vehicle veered to the other side of the road. Two unidentified occupants from the other vehicle were transported by a chopper to a medical facilities. A passenger of Steinhilber also suffered serious injuries. Traffic flow on Wood County W where the collision took place was restored after several hours. Steinhilber was released after posting a $25,000 signature bond in Wood County Circuit Court.
