Rhinelander man gets plea deal

21-year-old Randall Lego from Rhinelander agreed to a plea deal after killing his passenger in a drunk driving accident last year, Star Journal reported on April 12. Lego was charged for homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and pled no contest. In turn, his charges for homicide by use of a vehicle with prohibited alcohol content and OWI were dropped.

The crash occurred in November near Pine Lake. Lego hit a pole, injuring himself while killing Jacob Juedes also of Rhinelander. Juedes was 23-years-old. Lego was taken to jail but released on a $10,000 bond. His hearing is scheduled for July, facing up to 25 years in prison.
