3 hurt in Madison suspected drunk driving accident

A three-vehicle accident in Madison on June 7, caused by a suspected drunk driver, resulted in three personal injuries, a Channel 3000 article reported.

At around 7:45 a.m., a vehicle reportedly crossed the center line into the opposite lane heading eastbound on Monroe Street and struck two vehicles in the vicinity of Gilmore Street, information coming from Madison authorities said. The driver who caused the collision was later identified as 33-year-old Nebuchanezzar Wright. Upon apprehension, authorities learned that Wright’s driving license was revoked. Police reported that the injuries sustained by the persons involved in the crash were not life-threatening. Police did not release the names of the two other persons involved. Several charges, including drunk driving and wrong-way driving, were filed against Wright.
